The process of renting a Skip Bin or a dumpster is an easy process, but if you’ve never done it before you may find yourself lost when the time arises.
There are many different scenarios where a dumpster rental comes in handy, such as a cleaning up project, moving, remodeling, or inherited a messy house. We at Cevons Waste Management decided to put together an easy to follow guide you can reference the next time you find yourself overloaded with junk.
Step 1: Assess the Project
Prepare in advance by planning it all out – make a checklist if you’re good at forgetting things. Start at least a week ahead of the actual cleanup.Begin by assessing the project as a whole. Determine the type(s) and amount of waste you have to get rid of, and figure out a date to start the cleanup. Write everything down; this is essential information Cevons Waste Management Sales/Dispatch Representatives would need to ensure you have the right size of bin.
Step 2: Choose the right Size for You
They say size matters. And we agree — at least when it comes to the size of the Bins we offer at Cevons Waste Management to help you complete your next project.
Our bins come in 10 Cubic Yard, 30 Cubic Yard, 40 Cubic Yard, and 50 Cubic Yard sizes. Whether you’re doing a small clean up or a major renovation, there is a bin for your job.
- Small to Medium Jobs
For Small to Medium Job we recommend our 10CYD Skip Bin, it is the most widely requested bin by customers. They can serve almost any household job (except perhaps a major renovation). If you’re clearing old furniture or refrigerators, putting on a new roof, remodeling a small kitchen or bathroom, adding or removing a patio, this sized dumpster is likely a good fit for your project.
Maybe you’re installing some landscaping and you need some place to put the old sod, weeds and tree stumps. Are you building or tearing out a fence? Depending on the size of the yard and the project, these dumpsters is likely a good fit.
- Medium to Large Jobs
These are the big boys of the bin world and are needed for the major remodeling and other large home renovation projects. If you’re adding an addition to your house, or cleaning up your yard space of large trees and debris, this is the right bin for you.
- Mother of All Bins
These bins are the least requested bins, but when they are called upon it is for very major cleanup and construction commercial/industrial project. They have seen action in almost every major construction project in Guyana.
Step 3: Prepare for the Drop-Off
The container will need to be set on hard, level ground. If you plan to have dropped in your driveway, make sure the driveway is clear and easily accessible for the drop off.
If the only option is to park the container on your parapet or the city street, you’ll have to make sure there is enough space to do so.
Step 4: Fill it UP and Call us Back
Now the fun part! Load up the dumpster with your junk. Give us a call if you finish the job ahead of schedule; we may be able to come pick up the dumpster early. Also, give us a call if you may need an extra day because you project may be falling behind schedule.
Please do not overload Bins. See Instruction below.
